About Anjali

Anjali has a bachelor and master’s in Commerce with a specialisation in Finance from Osmania University, Hyderabad. She has worked for over three years in various roles like that of a UGC NET qualified assistant professor and digital strategy consultant for a few startups in Hyderabad. While in college, she worked with the Government of Telangana for their digital literacy drives at focal farmers’ markets, and surveyed a few rural districts for financial awareness. Prior to joining UQIDAR, Anjali worked at IIT Roorkee on an ICSSR funded project to study neural responses to news and ad posts on social media using an EEG. Her research interests include digital businesses, digital transactions, and financial literacy.

Digital Transactions in India

This project seeks to provide a comprehensive account of the rapid shift towards digital payments in India. Analysis of market and user data and policy regimes seeks to illustrate key trends at scale and support the development of robust policy recommendations for India's digital economy.
