XRCT Hydromechanical Damage Evolution In Porous Rocks: Characterisation and Modelling
This project aims to develop a new damage model based on thermodynamics and damage mechanics to capture the hydro-mechanical driven damage of porous rock. The damage evolution is characterised using coupled ultrasonic wave propagation responses and X-ray micro-computed tomography (XRCT) imaging.
