About Atiqur

Atiqur Rahman holds a Master of Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Bachelors degree from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. During the course studies at IIT Delhi, he developed a genuine interest in solid state and materials chemistry and exposure to research in IIT-Delhi motivated him to pursue a carrier in science. Hence, after the completion of the MSc course in April 2022, Atiqur continued to work in Prof. Thomas’s lab as a project intern and started working on the structural studies related to mechanically flexible peptides. His research interest lies in design and develop new molecular piezoelectric materials which may serve as futuristic materials for energy harvesting applications.
