Organic semiconductors are an attractive solution for solar cells that are low-cost and environmentally sustainable. This project will employ time-resolved spectroscopic techniques to understand the charge generation process in solar cell material that are designed for intrinsic charge generation.

Silica nanoparticles afford excellent carriers for drug loading and ligand conjugation. This project will design nanoformulations loaded with bioactive molecules. Engineered particles conjugated with ligands/antibodies will achieve high efficacy of nature derived molecules for breast cancer therapy.

Gig economy workers face challenges because their work is mediated via algorithms. They lack supervisors to guide them and so are left on their own when solving problems. We aim to study how workers deal with and overcome such ambiguity in their jobs, and offer insights into this growing issue.
